The BUCS Handball Qualifiers Conclude with Thrilling Round 2

After an exhilarating weekend of handball action on 8 courts across the UK, the BUCS Handball qualifiers for 2024 have reached their conclusion.  
 
The competition displayed some intense battles, with teams securing their spots in the finals by the narrowest of margins! The Men’s defending champions of 2023, Oxford, have emerged victorious once again in the Men’s South category, securing their qualification with an undefeated record.  

The road to the finals promises to be a challenging one, and Oxford will undoubtedly be a team to watch as they aim to defend their title. In the Women’s Cup, previous champions Loughborough and AECC have demonstrated their prowess on the handball court, solidifying their positions as top contenders.  

The fierce competition in this category suggests an exciting showdown in the finals, with these powerhouse teams determined to claim the championship. The North continues to be a hotbed of talent, with Liverpool John Moores and Liverpool University consistently proving themselves as formidable contenders. Their presence in the mix adds an extra layer of anticipation, as their skilled squads look to make a mark in the upcoming finals. 

As the dust settles on the qualifiers, all eyes turn towards the impending finals at Derby Arena on the 9th + 10th March 2024, where the best of the best will vie for glory in the BUCS Handball Championship.
