COMPETITION
The England Handball National Schools competition is open to teams in the u13 and u15 categories. The competition is open to all schools within England, and progresses through from local rounds to National Finals.
Age groups are
u13 Girls (year 7 + 8)
u13 Boys (Year 7 + 8)
u15 Girls (year 9 + 10)
u15 Boys (year 9 + 10)

COMPETITION ENTRY:
OPENS: 8th July 2026
CLOSES: 16th October 2026
FIXTURES/COUNTY FORMAT RELEASED:
Local Rounds – November 2026 to March 2027
Upon team entry Schools:
- Enter their County
- Teams will be placed into groups based on geographical spread of teams
- Compete in their closest tournament. Results are supplied to England Handball via the hosting school.
- In some areas, where there are a large number of teams in each local area, there may be multiple qualifying rounds
Regional Round – April 2027 to May 2027
Regional rounds hosted by England Handball.
Winners of the local rounds progress through to a regional final hosted on a single day by England Handball.
Round 3 – 23rd & 24th June 2027
National Finals hosted by England Handball
Top placements from regional rounds, progress to the National Finals
