The EHA referee courses are designed to support and guide participants from fledging referee through to being competent enough to referee at the highest level in the UK and potential continuation into Europe.
If you are new to refereeing, starting off at Level 1 and introduction level with youth leagues at u14 and u16 is the perfect starting place.
Those who have completed courses can expand their knowledge with out referee level 2 course as well as find support with our referees group. Getting mentoring and feedback with our referee mentors as part of the course.
This course qualifies you to referee junior games up to u16 level.
The course is completed online with an in person referee assessment which runs alongside the course. The assessment can qualify you to u19 level.
The course qualifies individuals to referee official England Handball senior games and be allocated to fixtures.
Referees can qualify for Level 2 status by evidence of prior experiance or direct referee assessment.
