England Handball is seeking an ambitious and experienced Chair to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth.

This is a pivotal leadership role, providing strategic direction, strong governance, and external influence to support the long-term sustainability and impact of the sport.

Key responsibilities:
Lead the Board in setting the strategic vision and long-term direction
Ensure high standards of governance, accountability, and risk management
Support and provide oversight to the Chief Executive Officer
Foster a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative Board culture
Act as an ambassador for England Handball, building relationships with key stakeholders, partners and sponsors
Support commercial development and financial sustainability through partnerships and networks

About you:

Proven Board-level leadership experience
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial sustainability
Ability to influence, build partnerships and open new opportunities
Passion for sport and its role in communities
Commitment to good governance, inclusion and organisational growth

Commitment & term:
Approximately 2-3 days per month
Four-year term (with potential extension)
